When a Chinese firm bought out NWF, the fab they have the custom photonics process in, I immediately became bearish. They are not in the 2022 apple watch
They got rid of the photonics biz and are exclusively focused on sensors but seems like an uphill battle.

Have you heard of Poet..small waveguide co in canada that is also pivoting to health sensors. They claim to have mfg capacity in China.
